Properties

Interpolation

  • Description: Type of spline interpolation for smoothing
  • Type: Enum
  • Options: CUBIC / LINEAR
  • Default: CUBIC

Iterations

  • Description: Number of relaxation iterations to apply
  • Type: Integer
  • Range: 1 to 50
  • Default: 1

Percentage

  • Description: Blend from original positions (0%) to relaxed positions (100%)
  • Type: Float
  • Range: 0% to 100%
  • Default: 100%

Regular

  • Description: Distribute vertices at equal distances along the loop
  • Type: Boolean
  • Default: True

How It Works

Loop Relax smooths the selected loop by fitting a spline through the vertices:

  • CUBIC: Smooth cubic spline interpolation (best for organic curves)
  • LINEAR: Linear interpolation between points
  • Iterations: More iterations = smoother result
  • Regular: When enabled, vertices are evenly distributed along the smoothed curve
