Flatten

  • Description: Flatten the loop to the best-fit plane before fitting to circle
  • Type: Boolean

Even

  • Description: Distribute vertices evenly around the fitted circle
  • Type: Boolean

Radius

  • Description: Scale factor for the fitted circle radius (1.0 = best-fit radius)
  • Type: Float
  • Default: 1.0

Anchor

  • Description: Use active element as reference point for the circle
  • Type: Enum
  • Options: NONE / VERT / EDGE
  • Default: NONE

How It Works

To Circle uses mathematical fitting to find the optimal circle for your selected vertices:

  1. Calculates the best-fit plane using Newell’s method
  2. Projects vertices onto this plane (when Flatten is enabled)
  3. Fits a circle using Kasa (algebraic) least-squares method
  4. Repositions vertices onto the fitted circle
