Requirements

  • Edge loop must be open (have two endpoints)
  • Selection must form a continuous edge loop
  • Cannot be used on closed loops

  • Description: Blend from original positions (0%) to fully straight (100%)
  • Range: 0.0% to 100.0%
  • Default: 100.0%
  • Type: Slider

How It Works

Loop Straighten positions vertices along a straight line between the loop endpoints:

  1. Identifies the first and last vertices of the open loop
  2. Calculates the straight line between these endpoints
  3. Projects each intermediate vertex onto this line
  4. Blends between original and straightened positions based on percentage
