How It Works

Select Parallel finds edge loops that run parallel to your current selection by following quad face topology:

  1. Analyzes the selected edge loop
  2. Finds cross edges connecting to adjacent parallel loops
  3. Follows the direction specified until reaching non-quad faces or mesh boundaries
